Isaiah, 30:21:
"Whether you turn to the right or to the left,
your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying,
"This is the way; walk in it."
DO YOU EVER WONDER if that voice you hear in your mind is yours, God’s, or the enemy’s? Do you desire, without a shadow of a doubt, to know that you are hearing from your beloved heavenly
Father? Do you want to speak in confidence that “God told me this . . .”? Well, the goal of this year’s Fruitbearer Women’s Retreat is to help you experience exactly that so we may
know the heart of the Lord and keep in step with the Spirit.
In a world that is filled with noise, clutter, distractions, and sometimes pure chaos, it is difficult to simply listen. Come and enjoy time with women just like you who desire to truly hear the
heart's cry of God and others.
The Fruitbearer Women’s Retreat, scheduled for April 27-28, 2012, is not your typical conference. Held right on the beach in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware at The Atlantic Sands Hotel, 101 N. Boardwalk,
the program is interactive rather than spectator-oriented. The 7 p.m. Friday through 5 p.m. Saturday event is designed to encourage women to enter into an atmosphere where they can lay down their
cares and receive a fresh anointing from the One Who knows and can meet our every need . . . if only we will let Him.
This year’s theme, “The Art of Listening,”centers on Isaiah, 30:21: "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk
in it."
Ladies, please notice the sidebar on your left or click the links below. I don't want you to miss the retreat agenda and a chance to get acquainted with our Fruitbearer team members, among other things. This is a new website, and we're still gathering pieces from previous conferences, so not all the photos of past Fruitbearer retreats are up yet. However, there is plenty here to give you a feel for what to expect and maybe bring back a wave of memories.
We have made arrangements for ladies to participate "ala carte" (Friday only, Saturday only, or both . . . commuter rates as well as overnight). Hope you can make it this year!
Grace and peace,
Candy
Women who have attended previous Fruitbearer retreats have called the weekend “life changing,” “a deep learning experience,” and “a restoration experience that lasts.” One of the high points is the hour-long Covenant of Silence on Saturday where the women find a quiet spot to listen for the voice of the Holy Spirit and record in their journals the insight they receive. Being able to walk right our of our hotel onto the beach should be particularly conducive to listening to the Lord.
