The Fruitbearer experience is for women of all ages who yearn for the deep things of God. More than a “program,” this weekend retreat is designed to lead you into a genuine God-encounter. Everything we do, from inspirational speakers to prayer partners to worship, to “shredding” our cares, is aimed at one two-prong objective: to equip you to hear the voice of God during our one-hour “Covenant of Silence”  and to help you keep in step with the Spirit long after the weekend is over. The Fruitbearer retreat is interactive and deeply personal, with interactive sharing time that helps to seal the things within us that the Lord accomplishes.

Whether you come alone or with your sister, girlfriend, mother, daughter-in-law, pastor, mentor, granddaughter, niece, hair stylist, daughter, or co-worker, the Fruitbearer conference will bond you closer than ever with the Lord and with one another.

The Fruitbearer experience facilitates a setting where the voice of the Holy Spirit will be heard loud and clear.

“I have long journaled, but it was always mostly a grocery list of my requests for God, rarely a pause to listen to His words to me. During that hour at the retreat in our Covenant of Silence, I learned how to do it for myself. Now I ask Him a question, sit back in my faded red chair with pen and paper, and let Him speak to me. It is glorious!” —Sara (Ocean City, MD)

The Fruitbearer experience will equip you with Christ’s perspective of who you are. You’ll leave with a deeper confidence in your unique role as a “fruitbearer” of: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

What Others Are Saying...

"The high point of the retreat for me was the amazing women who were presenting. Each in their own way made the time valuable to me. Clair, Malorie, Anita and Karen each responded to the Holy Spirit in different ways and blessed me. A am sure Candy does not know how her seemingly spontaneous remarks added to the warmth, sincerity and genuine fellowship of the Friday evening and Saturday event. I commend Claire: her contemplative, informative presentation requires something of me."

Fay Green

Middletown, DE

"This was my third Fruitbearer retreat, and each year I look forward to sharing my time with God and the lovely women who attend. I am always so moved during the Covenant of Silence, and this year was no different. I felt blessed and peaceful after my quiet time with my Lord.  Keep up the good work! The team really does a great job."

"The high points for me were the flutist, Linda Mason and the music! The one hour of silence with the Lord! And the friendships begun! Keep it up. Can't wait till the next one!"

Carol K. Lynch

Dagsboro, DE

"I really enjoyed meeting and spending time with the women at my table. We shared experiences, issues, and hopes. It was very supportive. Of course, the presenters were excellent! I thought that the agenda was great, but even better was the response and how the retret flowed and the agenda was flexible to the flow. Wonderful!"
