Kathi Wilson loves to help people connect with their hearts and be persuaded that God's heart is good towards them! She has been a spiritual Mama to many and is always delighted when anyone moves toward healing and wholeness. She is a singer/songwriter with a psalmist's heart and has written all of her songs out of her life's well of sorrows and joys. An anointed musician and "overcomer," Kathi will lead us on a journey of Sweet Surrender during our 2015 conference.
Visit Living Water Productions to hear samples of her music. Be sure to check out her music video of "MIGHTY RUSHING BREATH OF GOD" for a rich Christian soaking praise and worship experience. As you listen to her sing you will not only be able to connect deeply with her story but you'll also sense God's nearness and His tender affection for you.
Kathi will be accompanied at the retreat by her dear friend and lifelong ministry colleague, Priscilla Williams. Priscilla is the artist who designed the cover of Kathi's albums as well as her book cover, Tired of Playing Church. She will be bringing two pieces of original are with her.
By the way, Kathi's book and CDs will be available for purchase.
One of the hallmarks of the Fruitbearer conference is to help you experience personal communication from the heart of the Lord In a world that is filled with noise, clutter, distractions, and sometimes pure chaos, it is difficult to simply listen. We are glad you have chosen to set this time apart as an intentional opportunity to recognize and respond to God. The Fruitbearer Women’s Retreat is designed to encourage you to enter into an atmosphere where you can lay down your cares and receive a fresh anointing from the One who knows our burdens and can meet our every need, if only we will let Him.
Our theme for the 2015 retreat is “Sweet Surrender.” This is your chance to let go of the things that have been weighing you down. This weekend, what will you relinquish? What cares will you place at Jesus’ feet? By the time you leave, we trust you will be more aware than ever of the love of Christ flowing through your heart. May we retain our “yes,” no matter what so that day by day we can walk closer than ever in step with the Spirit.
There will be no printed agenda this time, only a loose outline as Kathi will let the Holy Spirit direct the flow. The shredder will still be present as in previous retreats, with cards to write the things you'll be letting go of. The beach is just across the highway and will be ideal for our 1-hour Covenant of Silence, weather permitting. Here is the loose format of how we anticipate the day unfolding:
Kathi - Session One
Lunch at Charlie's Bay Side Restaurant (order from the menu)
Kathi - Session Two
· Your Bible
· Something comfortable (blanket or beach chair) if you head toward the sand for the Covenant of Silence
· Money for lunch at the restaurant and a little extra in case you want to buy Kathi’s book or a CD
